Preparing paintings for a solo exhibition and more art prizes

I’ve entered this years Wynne landscape art prize, finalists will be announced July 20th. I’m also preparing some new works for more art prizes and a solo exhibition next year.

To stop a thief in Hosier Lane

People are appropriating my paintings in Hosier Lane, I found a couple of photos on Instagram taken by other people indicating that 3 of my paintings have been stolen from my art installation in Hosier Lane. So I thought if people want to appropriate them they could buy them by becoming a patron on my new Patreon account

Plein air painting in Hosier Lane

7/5/17 I went and painted in Hosier Lane today. Spray cans in a suit case. I have 3 permanent little paintings installed on a grill in a window cavity. I added an extra canvas which I painted in the studio. But I painted over 2 of the earlier panels I installed, with more vibrant colours. Thank to my international friend Chris for taking this pic. Next time I paint in Hosier Lane, I will paint the walls. To see more pics goto my instagram. @badenlostaustralialandscapeart

A homage to Van Gogh

A major Van Gogh exhibition has come to Melbourne’s NGV, Vincent is an influence on my work so I did a street art tribute to him. I made 6 foot high spray painted VanGoghs on paper and stuck them in Melbourne’s most iconic street art laneways.

Including Hosier, Ac/Dc & Tattersalls lanes. I painted Starry Night, The Sun Flowers and a few others.

From plein air to Hosier Lane

I painted this in the caravan park in Walkerville, Victoria. On a recent camping trip with my brothers and our kids. This is its final resting place. It want last long it will be tagged and painted over by the graffas. I chose that spot due to the green mushrooms that were left behind. From a previous piece
